Steve Cummins: Deceased 1971

Randall Densmore: Deceased 1981

Lora Dearinger: Deceased 1970

Joseph Fergerson: Deceased 2006

Susan Finfrock Stephenson: Deceased 2004

Susie had a long fight with cancer and am not sure what type. She and Joe Stephenson had the three children together but had divorced before her passing, although they remained friends. She left her mark on those kids; they all have her sincerity and kindness.

Ron Giorgi: Deceased 2010

Rosemary Hamper Neal: Deceased 1997?

Timothy Hare: Deceased 2010

I met Tim Hare in the third grade at St. Mary Magdalen. We were friends and altar boys in Catholic school. We remained friends all throughout our lives totalling a 50 year span. He introduced me to Nor. Cal redwood country when he moved here in ‘95. I then moved up in ‘98 and am still here on my beautiful 40 acre ranch. His ashes are under a baby redwood tree we planted in his memory right here on my land. I kept his old beat-up Dodge work truck as a reminder of him and how very hard he worked as a plumber. Tim found out last January he was sick, then passed over on April 17th. God bless and rest his Soul.

Billy Loucks: Deceased 1995

Marcia McAffee: Deceased 1996

Marcia was a sweet and very loyal friend and I am sorry we lost track of each other thru the years.  She and her Marine husband attended our ten year reunion..it was the last time I saw her.  Her sister Wendy said she struggled with breast cancer for many years. Marcia had one son Danny...who was her pride and joy.

I miss her laughter.

Thomas McKenna: Deceased 1971

Pat Muldoon: Deceased 2001

Pat and I went all through school together...first grade through graduation. He was one of the kids who lived out in the farm country, and, like most of those guys, he was rather quiet and a true friend. Our senior year, Pat really came out of his shell. Lots of people got to know the fun-loving guy he was.

Daniel Norbie: Deceased 1981

Ray Nuñez: Deceased 2006

Ray Nunez is one of those people that you never saw without a smile.

Sometimes in the middle of talking, he would get into a laughing fit and couldn't speak. .....and of course, you know I was always laughing about something....I would join right in with him....until our eyes were watery

and we had to walk away from one another just to breathe!

I was so looking forward to laughing with him once again.

RIP my good-natured, laughing friend....you are missed.

Maria Pereira Cubillas: Deceased 1989

Diane Pomerleau: Deceased 1984

Rick Provenza: Deceased 1998

Rick was probably one of the smartest guys I have ever known. His quiet intelligence and mature perspective baffled my silly teenage brain. I have come to realize this guy was a man...in a 16 year old body. He opened my eyes to see the suffering of others...he was passionate about politics, especially civil and equal rights. Rick was devoted to his God, his family and the USA. One day, his brother Jim and I made plans for a surprise get-together with Rick, but he died two days later. It broke my heart that I missed seeing him.

'He will rise up on eagles' wings....................'

Maria Stella Quiroz: Deceased 2007

Ted Russell: Deceased 1979

Robert Rutt: Deceased 2007

Robert Rutt and I met on the playground at SMM in the 5th grade. He was a good friend in grammar school, but I lost touch with him in high school. Robert had something wrong with him for a long time, and I'm not sure they ever found out what the cause was. He had some kind of brain anomaly. I recently tried to relocate him, but, sadly, I just found the news of his ‘07 departure. Bobby was a loving, sharing kid. I miss him.

Steve and I met our senior year at ACHS and were good friends afterwards. I was an average student in high school and college seemed overwhelming. While we attended Moorpark College Steve taught me how to take notes, study for tests and how to take tests and even write papers. It started with a history class we took together. I finished Moorpark with my AA and transferred to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where I earned my BS degree. I often think how fortunate I am for his help and that I owe my education to him. After his death, Guy Austen and I visited his parents. I shared with them how he helped me achieve my education and they were so happy to know this. Things happen for a reason; people come into our lives for a reason. We are blessed by others and we bless others. Steve Umbarger is one of the many people that have blessed my life.

I met Paul in 4th grade at Camarillo Heights School when we moved to Camarillo. We had many classes together, collaborated on lots of practical jokes and towards the end of our high school years we used to occasionally share some beers and go into town and annoy people. My memories of Paul throughout the years are of a cheerful, good-natured person who was extremely intelligent and had a great sense of humor along with a penchant for mischief. He was so smart that I think he was bored by uninspired teachers, and he would sometimes react by asking the teachers relevant questions that were well beyond their grasp of the subject. I really appreciated the elegance of his ability to intentionally disrupt the class by appearing to be actually interested in the subject.

I lost touch with him after high school graduation and was stunned to hear of his passing at such a young age. Pat Savage and I shared some memories of Paul at the recent reunion and I sure wish that Paul could have been there with us.
